I.	Ad Hoc group mandate (N6502)
1.	To assess how a standard can be created to replace the 
normative reference to an external specification in MPEG-4 part 18 
and to meet requirements of the industry, of MPEG, and observing the 
requirements expressed in annex B of N5289.
2.	To recommend how MPEG should proceed in the light of this 
assessment.
3.	If relevant conditions are met, to create a proposed draft 
of an ISO standard based on the OpenType specification v1.4


II.	AHG Activities
1.	Issues brought to the attention of this ad hoc at the Hong 
Kong meeting are now resolved in principle.
2.	AHG meeting was held on 17 April 2005 at 3:00 pm

III.	Recommendation 
•	The AHG plans to meet during the week of 18 April to develop 
a recommendation to the requirements/systems group on how to proceed 
to the next stage.
