Hello all,

As promised, I have obtained Adobe's official position regarding MPEG's 
use of Adobe Type technology.

Our decision is that Adobe will not be able to provide RAND terms on 
Font technology to ISO since we license this technology depending on the

business case.  Additionally, we will not transfer the Opentype 
copyright to ISO.

We will be supplying a formal patent statement to Leonardo shortly.
