[mpeg-OTspec] Call for Proposals and AHG meeting [1 Attachment]

Dear all,

I am pleased to announce that the joint response to the Call for Proposals was submitted by Adobe Systems Inc. and Apple Inc., which is attached to this email for your review. The response is based on the preliminary proposal m17712 that was submitted to MPEG for consideration at the last MPEG meeting in July (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/mpeg-OTspec/message/475).

The AHG meeting to discuss the proposals will be held on Oct. 10 at the MPEG meeting venue. I will announce the exact location and time as soon as I have the confirmation of room allocation from the meeting host.

The next, 94th MPEG meeting will be held in Guangzhou, China on Oct 11-15. The meeting agenda and the information on logistics and accommodations can be found in the attached meeting notice. Those members who plan to submit a response to the Call for Proposals should plan on attending the AHG meeting that will take place the day before the MPEG meeting starts, on Sunday, October 10th. Please note that the deadline for submission of the proposals is October 6. The text of the CFP [1] and the Requirements [2] can be found at MPEG website:

In order to reserve the room for the AHG meeting, I need to suggest to the meeting host the expected number of participants and the time for the AHG meeting. I would like to suggest that we meet to review the submitted proposals at 2:00 pm on Oct. 10. I'd expect the meeting to last for approximately two hours until 4:00 pm and would like to reserve a room for 10-12 participants.
