Yahoo groups change detrimental?

Some time in the first two weeks of May Yahoo changed the way it rewrites messages sent to the list such that author's email addresses are appearing in the "friendly name" part of the email without any obfuscation or redaction, e.g. (and I'll add my own obfuscation)

 When viewing group messages on the web, Yahoo is kind enough to redact the domain but I would guess there are other "archivers" out there that won't be so alert and will (rightly, imo) assume that whatever someone puts in the "friendly name" is public info. 
 

 Not happy.
