AHG Kick-off and new draft to review

Dear AHG members,

At the last MPEG meeting the mandate for this ad-hoc group has been renewed until February 2015. We are tasked to study the text of the final Draft International Standard of 3rd edition ISO/IEC 14406-22 (OFF) and solicit technologies to further improve it.

As a result of the discussions we had during last period, the changes that were discussed and agreed by the AHG members are now incorporated as part of the "Study DIS ISO/IEC 14496-22" document (see attached) that was prepared and published at the last meeting. This is a red-line revision of the original document with all changes tracked - please review and provide any additional comments. Just to remind you - the original DIS document is still under open ballot and the comments should be submitted no later than early December 2014 - we still have about a month of time to discuss and suggest additional clarifications and text corrections.
