[MPEG-OTSPEC] Proposed revision of the OFF sub-clause 5.4.3 "CFF2 - Compact Font Format (version 2) table"

Dear AHG members,

 

I would like to bring to your attention a new issue #48 that has been raised
on MPEGGroup/OpenFontFormat GitHub
<https://github.com/MPEGGroup/OpenFontFormat/issues/48> . It summarizes the
proposed changes and updates in the current description of the CFF2 table
format (sub-clause 5.4.3 of the OFF 4th edition standard). The revised draft
text of the new sub-clause is offered for public review.

 

I realize that we are approaching the holiday season when many families get
together for celebrations, and this may not be an ideal time to get the work
done . Having said this, we are still 20 days away from the input submission
deadline for the next SC29/WG3 meeting [that is scheduled for January 17-21,
2022] and I believe we have plenty of time to review and finalize the draft.
Please do so - your comments and proposed changes would be very much
appreciated.
