[MPEG-OTSPEC] WD review and input contribution deadline

In 5.3.4.11: 

"This is the table information needed if numberOfContours is..."

That wording needs revision: besides being odd ("table" is used as an adjective modifying 'information), what is being described isn't a table in the sense used in this spec. Also, it states when the info is (vs. isn't) used, but not what it is. I'd change to,

"This is the information used to describe a glyph if numberOfContours is..."

Also, the second sentence of that paragraph, "Note that point numbers...", has been deleted. I don't think that should be deleted as that sentence is technically—and normatively—significant.

In Clause 5.2.8, there is an unnumbered sub-clause: "OS/2 Table and Font Variations" should be 5.2.8.36.

I see you have made various mentions of table names into internal hyperlinks. That is done in the OT spec, and I have no objection to that in OFF, though I wonder if ITTF would require references using clause number. E.g., "the 'glyf' table (5.3.4)" (where 5.3.4 is a hyperlink) versus "the 'glyf' table" (where 'glyf' is the hyperlink).

Also, you make reference to other parts in some cases using "subclause"; e.g., in 5.2.7, "See subclause 5.2.7.2...". In Directives Part 2, 22.4, the examples given for permitted ways to reference don't include that pattern. You don't need to mention "subclause" and could simply say, "See 5.2.7.2..." Again, not anything I have a problem with, but ITTF could complain.

1. Open the document
2. Go to “Review” tab
3. Under “Track Changes” drop down menu, select “All Markup”
4. See all tracked changes magically appear on screen!

Re: future comments - the status of this document is a working draft, it won’t be under ballot until it is promoted to Committee Draft which won’t happen soon. I recommend that any proposed changes should be submitted by interested parties as input contributions.
