[MPEG-OTSPEC] AHG kick-off and WD update

Dear AHG members,

 

The results of the 139th MPEG meeting, WG recommendations and the public
output documents have been updated <https://www.mpeg.org/meetings/mpeg-139/>
. 

Our AHG mandate has been extended without changes until the next meeting in
October, and the new version of the WD of 5
<https://www.mpeg.org/wp-content/uploads/mpeg_meetings/139_OnLine/w21760.zip
> th edition ISO/IEC 14496-22 "Open Font Format" that includes some
additional editorial changes and corrections is now available publicly for
review. 

 

Please note that the deadline for registration and submission of input
contributions to the next WG3 meeting is Oct. 17, 2022, but I would like to
encourage you to do an early submission and allow more time for discussion
of any additional changes.
