Dear AHG members,

Our group mandates until the next WG3 "MPEG Systems" meeting remained
unchanged and include:

1. Review the text of the updated Working Draft of ISO/IEC 14496-22 (5th
edition).

2. Explore potential future changes and updates, and propose new items (if
applicable) for consideration in the 5th edition of the OFF specification.

Based on the input contributions and proposed changes submitted and reviewed
at the last meeting in January, the 5th edition Working Draft text has been
updated and is now available for public review
(https://www.mpeg.org/wp-content/uploads/mpeg_meetings/141_OnLine/w22305.zip
).

The 5th edition "Open Font Format" project has been initiated over a year
ago, starting with the major CFF2 update and also incorporating the changes
introduced by both Amendments 1 & 2, and including many additional changes
discussed throughout the year. As with all prior incremental updates, the
current v.5 of the Working Draft includes tracked changes from its previous
version 4. According to the project plan, we should aim to finalize the WD
document to make it ready for promotion to the Committee Draft stage at the
next WG3 meeting [that will take place on April 24-28, 2023]. I'd strongly
encourage you to review the current text and raise any additional topics for
discussion. The Working Draft stage still gives us an opportunity to easily
make new changes, before the document is finalized and distributed for
ballot comments.

The deadline for submission of the input contributions for the next meeting
is April 17, 2023 - please make all reasonable efforts to finalize your
submissions early rather than late, and please do not hesitate to raise new
topics for discussion in this AHG - we still have plenty of time to do so.

Thank you very much for your contributions, both past and future.

Vladimir
