Yes - which is probably what ISO do internally.

It’s a (rather large) ISO standard.

LibreOffice (and OpenOffice before it) uses a competing standard, which
was done at Oasis Open, and is simpler.

There’s XSLT stylesheets floating around to work with these formats.
And i write and teach and maintain XSLT for a living when not editing
font spec proposals :-)
