I am not sure what the first NOTE means. Two questions:<br>

<li>Does it apply only to OFF fonts containing TrueType outlines
(since we've already been told CFF flavored fonts use Version 3
post table)?<br>

<li>Does it mean simply that the Version 3 post table should not
be used (except for CFF fonts), or does it mean that the post
table must be version 2 AND that name indices between 0 and 257,
referring to Macintosh names, should not be used? <br>
</li>

I'd like to propose we make the text clear, but as I don't
understand it myself I'm not sure what text to suggest.<br>

Regarding the second NOTE, it would be good to include the fact that
names should be no longer than 31 characters (as mentioned in the
AGL specification along with the character set limitation). To that
end I propose this change:<br>
