As our friend Vladimir will be able to confirm, this is a known issue, and the result of a procedural change at the ISO level. The short answer is that ISO/IEC 14496-22:2026 will become freely available, but the exact timing is unknown due to ISO bureaucracy.<br>
<br>
This issue will also affect the seventh edition of the ISO/IEC 10646 standard, and I have already alerted ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 2 about this and how to resolve it.<br>
