I think the draft that i posted has a comment in it to the effect that
using gly2 or GLY2 rather than GLYF might be better for this reason,
and asking for feedback.

It’s not a big deal either way.

For sure i agree about possible confusion. Thank you both for writing.

If the overall direction and proposal is accepted, we can discuss what
names to use, for sure.
