I understand, but there are reasons the processes discourage this
sort of thing. It's not just pro-forma.
Put this this way: Suppose this is added to the draft that was tentatively
approved on Tuesday, and then at the working group meeting someone
says "this is a significant change and we never discussed it, I no longer
approve of this proposal". Then is there even an opportunity to pull it
out, given that the documents are already registered and uploaded?
Is it worth the risk of losing the other changes?
