[MPEG-OTSPEC] Status of DIS Ballot Comments Discussion for Open Font Format

Thank you for your detailed reply.  I just attended an SC34 plenary in
Seattle. In connection with the ongoing revision of OOXML, SC34 and ISO
discussed more than a year ago how closely the final publication should
follow the Directives, Part 2. Although producing a fully compliant text
was not feasible, we reached agreement on the necessary adjustments, and
SC34 revised the text accordingly. However, as publication approaches, ISO
has requested a Word version and now appears ready to introduce additional
changes beyond what was agreed.

You wrote "the FDIS text is expected to be registered for final approval on
Sep. 7" but this has not happened yet.  Are there any discussions between
ISO and SC29?
