That isn't what you proposed at all! ;p You made a proposal about MSOT.

I think Vlad's comments in

worth considering.

That work be done in W3C WG and result trickle down into OFF, has precedent
in SVG-in-OT.

It remains to be seen if a new W3C group on font format innovation will be
chartered; but it seems to me the next practical step would be to draft
such a charter.

Personally, I think the AHG can modernize, moving off this list to the
official mpeg github discussion repo, and make collaborative drafting
possible, then it offers all the practical benefits as a W3C CG or WG.
