Hi

This list's archive is now at
https://lists.aau.at/mailman/private/mpeg-otspec/ (a private URL
that requires sign in) but for many years it was at
https://lists.aau.at/pipermail/mpeg-otspec/ - and now all links to eg
https://lists.aau.at/pipermail/mpeg-otspec/2020-August/001858.html is now
broken, and only works for me at
https://lists.aau.at/mailman/private/mpeg-otspec/2020-August/001858.html
when I am logged into the mailman site.

I guess the AAU list admin folks have upgraded from mailman v2 (that used
pipermail as the web archive tool with pipemail in the URL..) to mailman v3
(which also uses pipermail but without it in the URL....) without bothering
to also migrate the archives hyperkitty (
https://docs.mailman3.org/projects/hyperkitty/en/latest/) which solves all
the gaping problems with pipermail.

So, first, I wonder if it is possible to revert this undesirable change to
this list's archive being removed from the public web (and easy indexing)
or if that is an immutable change directed by the AAU folks server-wide?

Second, I wonder if it is possible for the AAU folks to make hyperkitty
archives available?

Third, if not, I wonder what the procedure will be to publish the legacy
archive elsewhere on a public Hyperkitty and shift all discussions from
this list to the mpeggroup/OpenFontFormat: Official MPEG repository to
discuss issues on https://github.com/MPEGGroup/OpenFontFormat/issues
